The students of 2024 series of the Department of EEE, RUET successfully completed an insightful study tour at the Katakhali 50MW Peaking Power Plant. The visit provided valuable practical exposure to modern power generation systems, peaking plant operation, load management, and safety practices. Students observed real-time operation of gas turbines, control room activities, and learned about the challenges of maintaining stability in peak load conditions.
